Abstract

273,075. Young, A. H. June 7, 1926. Compound jars.-Jars and like containers are made in separate compartment units 1 adapted to be secured together by the engagement of inwardly projecting lugs 2 at the upper end of each unit with flanges 3 at the base, each compartment constituting a lid for the one below. The flanges are cut away to allow the passage of the lugs. The flanges 3 are sloped at 5 so that a resilient packing ring 6 may be interposed between the units. A lid 7, Fig. 2, with flanges 3 similar to those on the base of a unit, may close the top unit.
