A floor structure comprises a plate 3 having upwardly-bent longitudinal transverse edges 4, 5 which form with pressed metal inserts 6, 7 box-section frame members preferably of closed ring form in plan. End walls 8 having bent-over upper edge portions 9 are secured to the edges of the floor plate. Profiled sheet metal strips 11 may also be secured to the floor plate to reinforce it. -
