Abstract

723,878. Vehicle bodies. SPARSHATT, G. W. Sept. 17, 1952 [Aug. 25, 1951], No. 20083/51. Addition to 682,507. Class 108 (1). A bodywork as in the parent Specification is characterised in that the mechanically interconnected tubes are made up of intersecting larger and smaller tubes, the larger tubes 1 being crosswise apertured to receive the smaller tubes 2, capping members 5 being fitted to the tubes 2 to form a support for panels. The larger tubes 1 may be fitted with short tubes 6 through which the smaller tubes 2 pass being secured therein by welds 8. Specifications 607,319 and 723,876 are referred to.
