Abstract

748,475. Vehicle bodies. DOVE, Ltd., L. F. Feb. 11, 1955 [Nov. 11, 1953], No. 31275/53. Class 108 (1). A vehicle body comprises panels having inner and outer skins 1, 2 and 5, 6 of plastic material with a heat insulative material sandwiched between them the outer edges of the floor panels 1, 2 being supported on the L- section bar 7 carried by the transverse chassis members 3 and the wall panels 5, 6 being interconnected at their vertical side edges in the channels of H-section metal strips 14 and having their lower edges located by the vertical flange of the bar 7 and resting against an angle section bar 8. The upper edges of the panels 5, 6 are bridged by an angle section 16 which supports inner and outer panels forming the cant and roof portions of the body.
