Abstract

296,445. Welti-Furrer Akt.-Ger., A. Sept. 2, 1927, [Convention date]. Frame construction.-A frame for trailer vehicles is constructed with main longitudinals, built up from a straight upper angle member H and a lower angle 2 bent up at the front end to accommodate the bogie and connected to the upper member H so as to form therewith a U-shaped member. The members H, Fig. 2 may be connected by vertical flat bars 3 which form abutments for cross frames Q. When the main longitudinals are close together the necessary overall frame width may be obtained by additional light longitudinal members L supported from the main member by end transverse members S and by flat inclined bars 9. The various components may be connected to one another by welding.
