Kinematograph apparatus. - In a camera, fogging of the film, due to the passage of light through the slots in which the feed claws move, is prevented by the provision of a screen which covers the slots and moves with the claws. As shown, the screen 6 is guided by a slot and screw 7 and by lugs and grooves 8, and is moved vertically by the feed claws 4. Sleeves 9, 10 may surround the claws 4. In a modification the screen 6 has a single sleeved aperture through which both the claws 4 project. The claws 4 may be carried by a link 14 extending between a crank 15 rotating on a shaft 16 and a pivoted arm 17, and the shutter may be operated from the crank 15 through an arm 19, a bell crank lever 20, and a link 21.
