Kinematograph apparatus.- Means for distinctively marking a film by light action is combined with a kinematograph camera, and placed between the objective and the exposure aperture. As shown a transparency or a stencil member 6 is carried by a pivoted arm 5 so as to be normally held out of operative position by a spring. The member 6 may be moved by means of an external lever into the position shown between the lens 1 and exposure aperture 3 of the apparatus, when it is desired to mark the film. The apparatus may then be directed towards the sky and a few exposures made. In a modification, the member 6 is loosely carried in a slide so as to be free from the aperture 3 when the apparatus is in its normal position, and so as to come before it when the apparatus is suitably turned.
