Abstract

294,434. Uren, W. E., and Brew, H. N. Jan. 4, 1928. Scaffolding. - Telescopic extension frames for use as scaffolding or trestles and of the type formed of four-sided frames, braced and bolted together and mounted on trolleys for portability, have the lower frame members a stayed by means of inclined ladder stays k removably secured to the frame and to the trolley. The upper sections b are raised bv means of ropes passing over pulleys o at the tops of the lower sections and are maintained in raised positions by means of gravity catches r on the upper sections engaging fixed rungs or bars on the lower section. The catches are released by means of the lifting ropes n. The upper sections are wholly detachable fcr use on separate trolleys.
