Inking-apparatus.-In an inking-apparatus for a printing-machine, particularly a, machine employing fluid inks for printing paper bags, the duct rollers d, Figs. 1 and 2, which is partially submerged in the ink in the trough e, is driven by reduction gearing from the shaft of the inking- roller c which contacts with the printing-roller a, so that the printing-roller may run at high speed while the speed of the duct roller is insufficient to throw off ink by centrifugal force. One or more brass rollers f may run in contact with the rollens d or e and is provided with enlarged bevelled ends f<1>, Fig. 2, engaging the bevelled ends of the coacting roller to deflect downwards into the trough any ink which may collect on the ends of that roller.
