Cylinders, cooling. - In an air-cooled engine, especially suitable for small vehicles, the cooling fan 4 is mounted on the crankshaft 1 outside the chain wheel 2, and both the fan and the chain wheel are enclosed in a casing secured to the crank-case. A pipe directs the stream of cooling air on to the exhaust valve casing.
