Abstract
285,910. Akt.-Ges. Brown, Boveri, et Cie. Feb. 25, 1927, [Convention date]. Regulating.-A blower 7 with a variable suction pressure is regulated for a constant pressure delivery, by means of a suction throttle regulator. The member 5 which effects the throttling is attached to a piston 2 in a cylinder 1. The space above the piston communicates with the delivery pressure pipe of the blower and the space below the piston is subject to the suction pressure beyond the throttling member 5. A weight or spring 6 acts on the piston in the same direction as the suction pressure. The throttling member 5 may be operated indirectly by a servo-motor.
