Pressure regulating valves. - A gas governor of the kind actuated by a diaphragm 6 subject or one side to the inlet pressure and on the other to the outlet pressure, an adjustable or inter changeable restricting device being provided in the main conduit between the inlet and outlet has the restricting device in the form of a rotary ported member 11 screwed in the outlet. The cap 2 securing the diaphragm has the securing flange recessed at 13 to form an annular chamber communicating through a port 15 with the space above the diaphragm and through a passage 14 with the outlet. Unauthorized removal of the cap may be prevented by a screw countersunk into the case and secured by a seal. A small bye-pass port 16 may be provided.
