Abstract

283,300. Rawlings, E. J. July 19, 1927. Fastenings for sliding windows.-One or more pivoted finger pieces 3 are secured on the sidesof the window frame and have bolt-heads S- shaped to effect a wedging engagement in holes in a vertical plate 10 on the window frame. A spring plunger 9 biasses the fastening towards its operative position. The wedging engagement prevents rattling. Resilient members 11, 13 carried by the lower part of the window and the frame respectively further prevent rattling.
