Abstract

282,339. Fischel, H., and Licharz, K. Dec. 20, 1926, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Spray carburettors. - The flow of fuel to the nozzle is varied inversely as the temperature of the engine cylinder. Below the nozzle, c is a plug f to which are screwed containers h, m. The container m receives engine cooling water at n, and the container h holds mercury i, a float on which carries a needle valve l controlling the inlet to the fuel nozzle. As the temperature of the cooling water increases, the fuel supply is reduced, and vice versa.
