280,713. Wiltshire, W. L. G. Nov. 27, 1926. Letting-off warps; take - up motions; warps, tensioning and guiding.- A braking device for one or both back rollers or warp beams B, C of a hand loom comprises a cord F passed around the beam and secured to a chain G and a spring I, the other end of the chain being connected to a lever H controlled by a spring J tensioned adjustably by a chain K. When the lower beam C is alone employed as a warp beam, the upper beam acts as an idle roller. The arrangements may be duplicated at the front end of the loom.
