Mountings.-Means for fitting pumps to oil tanks &c. comprises a plate a provided with a nut or screwed boss c and with perforations b which are adapted to register with perforations on the top of the tank. When a pump provided with a perforated plate for bolting to the tank top is to be replaced by a pump with a screw-threaded suction pipe, the pipe is screwed into the boss c and the plate a is bolted to the tank top through the holes b.
