Strainers fitted at end of pipes. - A fitting adapted to be mounted at the bottom of beer supply pipes and the like comprises an upper neck or collar 1, a base-plate 2, rods 3 or other supporting-means to space the collar from the baseplate, and a gauze wall 4. The plate 2 has an internal flange 6, which screws on to a collar 9 secured to the rods 3, and is provided with perforations 13 and an internal screw thread 7 to receive the end of the beer pipe. A gauze disc 12 may be placed as shown within the part 6.
