Abstract

BrassiÞres. - In a brassiere consisting of breast pockets p, Fig. 1, connected at the front by an elastic portion 5, the pockets are each made up of two portions 2, 3 shaped as shown in Figs. 7 and 8, a dart being cut at A in the portion 2. By seaming up 'the dart and joining the pieces so that the lower end of the dart coincides with the point A<1> a pocket is formed with three seams 13 emanating from a point. The seams are covered on the inside with lace or other soft material to protect the skin of the wearer, and the brassiÞre completed by pieces 1 terminating in fastening strips 8 at the back. In a modification, the pocket portions are arranged only at the upper part of the garment.
