277,130. McKellar, A. June 19, 1926. Locking nuts. - A key E engages one of two cross-cut grooves C in the end of the bolt and radial slots A<1> in a reduced extension A<2> of the nut. A cap has tongues G<2> which enter slots F<1>, the cap then being rotated so that the tongues engage the peripheral groove F. The cap contains a laver of cork I and felt L and lubricant for preventing rust.
