Abstract

215,260. Lubin, S. A., and Anishike, P. S. Sept. 20, 1923. Locking nuts.-A nut-lock of the type in which a spring- pressed pawl carried by the nut engages ratchet-teeth or radial recesses in a washer which is held against rotation by a lug which engages a longitudinal groove in the bolt, comprises a washer 7 which is accommodated in an annular recess in the bearing face of the nut 4, and is engaged by a spring-pressed pin 12 in the nut. The pin 12 may be provided with a lug 16 which fits in a recess 18 in the outer face of the nut when the device is locked, and rests upon that face in the unlocked position.
