Abstract

116,862. Rule, T. B. Feb. 2, 1918. Locking nuts.-Relates to double locking-nuts of the kind in which one of each pair has a slit conical extension fitting a conical recess in the other and consists in providing means for keeping the members together. As shown in Fige. 1 and 2, a groove is provided at the base of the conical extension a<1> into which a rim b<1> in the other member is sprung. In a modification, the rim may be formed on the conical extension at either end and the groove provided in the other member.
