Locking nuts.-A nut is formed on one or both sides with a tapered hole to receive a locking-pin C, which has a V-shaped groove c to engage frictionally one of the threads of the bolt. The pin is split at c<1>, and a recess a is formed in the nut to receive the split ends when opened out to secure the pin.
