Abstract

Stereotype, casting.- In stereotype casting- apparatus of the kind in which the mould b, c is adapted to be pressed against the outlet opening e of the melting-pot, the frame a carrying the mould is pivoted to the wall of the furnace by means of an eccentric bush or bushes at each side of the machine. By adjustment of the bushes f the frame can be moved so as to enable the openings of moulds of different sizes to be correctly positioned for casting. Preferably a second eccentric bush g is mounted in the bush f. The bushes can be secured in adjusted position by means of bolts m, n passing through slots k, l in flanges on the bushes and screwing into the furnace wall and bush f respectively.
