Abstract

276,695. Kapp, R. Aug. 28, 1926, [Convention date]. Vacuum tubes. - In order to prevent flow of current in the grid circuit of a thermionic amplifier, a counter E.M.F. is set up in the circuit by means of one or more cells consisting of two platinum or lead electrodes immersed in an electrolyte and mounted in an adapter for supporting a thermionic, valve. Fig 8 shows an adapter containing cells e connected to the grid plug and socket c<2>, c<1>. The cells may also be mounted in the valve socket.
