276,166. Jones, A. W., and Hall, D. G. (trading as Universal Pencil Co.). Sept. 25, 1926. Pencil holders - Relates to a pencil holder of the type consisting of a part a from which project a fixed lead carrier d and an internally screw-threaded tube f form ing an extension of the part a, and a point-section g fitting over the lead carrier and screwing into the tube f to expose or cover the lead. The tube f is separate from the part a and is removably attached thereto as by screwing, and the point section g engages by means of a raised screw-thread with the tube f, the screw in which terminates a short distance from the front end so as to prevent the separation of the parts. The part o is hollow and serves as a recep tacle for refills, a closing cap b being provided.
