Hydrogenation, destructive. - The process of hydrogenizing carbonaceous materials in presence of added combined nitrogen as described in the parent Specification and in Specification 250,948 is applied to the treatment of conversion or hydrogenation products of mineral oils and bitumens, e.g. acid sludge, cracked products, or hydrogenated derivatives thereof.
