272,832. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. Feb. 11, 1926. Addition to 247,584. Hydrogenation, destructive. - The process of hydrogenizing carbonaceous materials in presence of added combined sulphur as described in the parent Specification and in Specification 247,585 is applied to the treatment of the tar-like products obtained by the destructive hydrogenation of carbonaceous materials, to coumarone resins or other conversion products of the distillation and extraction products of carbonaceous solids, and to lignite wax and the like materials.
