Abstract

273,228. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. Feb. 26, 1926. Addition to 247,584. Hydrogenation, destructive.-The process desscribed in the parent Specification and in Specification 249,493 for the destructive hydrogenation of carbonaceous materials under a pressure of at least 50 atmospheres in presence of added combined sulphur, is applied to the treatment of conversion or hydrogenated products of mineral oils or other bitumens or products obtained therefrom, e.g. acid sludge.
