Locks, permutation.-In steering-wheel locking- devices of the kind in which two castellated rings are brought into engagement, one fast to the wheel and the other sliding on a tubular support. three permutation devices K engage pins H on a collar G mounted on the movable castellated ring C. The devices K are formed with recessed flanges K<2> which engage the pins H as shown. The ring D is secured by a cap F which fits over the spokes of the wheel and is bolted to a flange D<2> on the ring D. To prevent the removal of the locking means by unscrewing the wheel retaining nut P a collar N is secured to the fixed support B by screws N'. The flanges K<2> are adjustably mounted on the rings K so that the releasing setting may be varied.
