451,378. Vehicle wheels. DIXON, H. A., Fordington, Great Ayton, Yorkshire. May 28, 1935, No. 15492. [Class 144 (i)] Wheels for tractors and like vehicles fitted with rubber tyres b are provided with extension rims c through which arms d may be projected to engage the ground by means of a ring f fitted with an operating-handle g. As shown, the arms are pivoted to the ring f, but it is also stated that a slotted or cam-ring may be used. The lever g may be locked, with the arms d projected or withdrawn, by a nut i engaging one of a pair of bolts h on the extension-rim.
