Abstract

197,244. Webb, G. S. Aug. 15, 1922. Tyre attachments to rims.-A rim of the collapsable spring ring type is formed with a internal groove 6 to receive a lever 16 which is pivoted at 17 to one end 9 of the rim and at 23 (midway of its ends) to a link 21 pivoted to the other end 8 of the rim. The free end 19 of the lever 16 is slotted to engage turnbuttons 20, 24 for locking the rim in the expanded and contracted positions respectively.
