Abstract

155,482. Ingenhof, J. Feb. 17, 1920. Metallic spring bodies and cores; rims.-The inner tube of a tyre 7 comprises a circumferentially slit steel tube 8, the ends of which do not meet. The circumferential slit is covered by a steel band and the tube is slotted at 11 to increase the flexibility. The rim comprises two parts 1, 2 secured by screw nipples 3 on the spokes 5. The nipples slide in bayonet-joints 6 so that the rim can be disconnected.
