Abstract
272,535. Inventia Patent Verwertungs, Ges. June 10, 1926, [Convention date]. Gases, treating electrically.-In dust-suction apparatus employing a d.c. motor M and wherein the air is treated electrically for the production of ozone, the alternating current for the fatter process is itaken directly from the motor commutator K. Commutator segments a, b of opposite polarity are connected to a transformer T functioning as a condenser, the secondary surrounding the primary and the air being passed between them. In one such arrangement, Fig. 5, the transformer is mechanically coupled to the motor shaft, the leads from segments a, b passing through the shaft. The transformer is arranged in the discharge aperture of the apparatus. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes a modification shown in Fig. 3 (Cancelled) having a stationary transformer T and condenser C, the transformer being connected to the segments a, b through slip-rings A, B. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
