Abstract

27,060. Krause, G. A. Nov, 25, 1912, [Convention date]. Gases, treating electrically.-In separating suspended particles from gases by completely or almost completely rectified hightension alternating current, a spark-gap or multiple spark - gap is included in the circuit. The terminals of the spark-gap may be kept in motion to avoid the formation of arcs. The apparatus shown comprises electrodes c, d, high-tension circuit a, b, and point-plate sparkgaps c, f. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) includes a claim for entirely utilizing the current waves of like polarity at their effective parts, and states that the rectifying of the alternating current may be effected by mechanical or physical directors or valve devices.' This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
