Abstract
272,140. Thornton, J. E. Dec. 11, 1925. Strap fastenings.-Fastening devices are described enabling a leader strip B to be attached to a kinematograph film C or to another leader strip thereon. Fig. 9 shows a construction in which a tongue c<3> is formed on the film C for irsertion in a slot b<3> in the strip B. As shown in Fig. 12, a bent wire b<5> hinged in a loop formed at the end of the strip B engages in loops c<6> formed at the end of the film C; the ends of the wire may be held in place by a turnbutton or the like. Further constructions are described in which the parts are connected by a wire staple, and by a hinge pin passing through loops on both parts.
