Abstract

191,970. Fitch, E. C., and Waltham Watch Co. Feb. 6, 1922. Aligned sleeves and pin fastenings.-In means for hingedly securing strap ends to watches, buckles, &c., one member is provided with apertured lugs embracing the other member to form an aligned passage through which a connector is passed, either the connector or the walls of the passage being made resilient and bent so as to cause the connector to be held frictionally by the walls of the passage. Lugs f, Fig. 1, on the watch a embrace the looped end e of the strap b, which carries a tube h, a pin k, bent as shown in Fig. 6, being passed through the lugs and tube. The tube h may be bent instead of the pin k or both may be curved, the one being bent to a greater extent than the other. The other end e<1> of the strap b is secured in a similar manner to the buckle d.
