Abstract

271,388. Skinner, A. T. March 24, 1927. Collapsable vehicles; caravans.-In trailer caravans of the type in which the upper part of the body telescopes vertically over the lower part, the body is in two equal parts and the upper part is provided with the windows and with part of the doorway and door. The upper part b as shown telescopes over the lower part a and is adapted to be raised and lowered by means of cords &c. i from a pulley h on a shaft e which may be driven by worm gearing from a cross-shaft operated bv a crank handle. Telescopic feet c are provided to support the caravan at rest. The part of the door in the upper portion b comprises two hinged members o while the part in the lower portion consists of two slidable members p. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 275,829.
