Closure mcmbers. -An automatic shut-off attachment for faucets for cutting off the fluid supply when the main valve requires repair or renewal -comprises a ribbed seating 1, frictionally held in the inlet passage G, a plain or stop ring 4, and an interposed cutoff ball or valve 3. A projection 5 on the valve member C, preferably a stud replacing the usual washer nut, prevents the cut-off valve from engaging the underside of the seating 1 until the valve is withdrawn upwards from the casing B for repairs. Specifications 22472/02, 12482A/06, and 186,862 are referred to.
