Abstract
210,322. Jones, J. April 4, 1923. Valves actuated indirectly. - A valve device opened by the act of coupling an outlet connection has a facing washer E, supported by a plate c connected by a rivet F to a tubular member A, adapted to co-operate with a seat ring B screwed into position. The outlet connection D has lugs adapted to engage corresponding lugs on the part A so that when the member D is screwed into position, the member A is screwed through the seat B so as to disengage the seating surfaces and pass the apertures A<1> to the other side of the seat and allow fluid to flow.
