266,875. Deering, J. B. Jan. 28, 1926. Hatch fastenings. - The hatch tarpaulin is clamped in position by means of bars 7 which are carried by hinges 8. the fixed member 9 of the hinge being secured to the coaming 10 so that the axis of the hinge is parallel to the bar and the coaming. The bars having been turned to their operative position are clamped by turnbuckles 11 also pivoted to the coaming.
