Abstract

265,421. Brown, G. April 9, 1926. Transfer mechanism.-A watch or other timeindicating device comprises, a stationary dial 1 graduated in minutes and a second rotating dial 2 having a mark 14 and a window 4 in which appears the appropriate hour numeral, this numeral being changed abruptly at each hour by the following means. The dial 2 rotates about a spindle 3 and carries a cage 13 in which are journaled interengaging wheels 6 and 9. Wheel 6 coacts with a spring-actuated pawl 8 and is so disposed that once in each revolution of the dial 2 it is moved one tooth by an abutment 5 on the stationary dial 1. The wheel 9 is rigid with a disc 12 carrying the hour numerals and coacts with a spring-actuated aligning pawl 11.
