Date indicators. - A clock-controlled dateindicator is provided with a date numeralbearing strip 23 which is mounted on two reels. supported by vertical spindles 5, 6, of which one is coupled by means of gearing to a spring barrel and the other is provided with a notched disk adapted to be released by means of levers rocked by a clock-driven wheel 12. The wheel 12 rotates once in twenty-four hours, and a tooth thereon rocks a double-armed lever 15, which thereby moves a pin 19 on a lever 18 out of the notch on the disk secured to the spindle 5, thus permitting the disk to rotate through a complete revolution to advance the strip 23.
