Abstract

262,683. Jõger (nÚe Brõndle), A. Aug. 27. 1926. T r o u s e r presses and stretchers.-In a trouser-press in which the creases at the front and back of the trouser legs are pressed by means of two pairs of superposed strips which are forced together by metal clamps, stretching-means in the form of springs which engage the strips and tend to force them apart is provided. The ends of the springs 5 may engage in apertures in the strips 1 or in elements attached to the strips. One pair of springs at one end of the device may be connected to a hook 6 for suspending the device. The bent strips 1 are lined with cloth or other soft material. The clamps shown are each composed of two right-angled members 2, 4 and a resilient lever 3 pivoted to the member 2.
