Abstract
195,617. H÷gman, C. O. March 31, 1922, [Convention date]. Trouser stretchers.-Relates to stretchers for insertion in the legs of trousers and of the type in which pairs of bars 2<a>, 3<a>, Fig. 1, are separated by toggle links 4, 5 actuated by rods 6, and in which guides 1 are pivoted at one end to the bars 2<a> and slide through the ends of the bars 3a. A support 13, Fig. 3, is arranged at the pivoted end of the guides 1 and consist of an angle piece with shoulders which support the guides 1 and maintain the frame against collapse. The rods 6 are attached at their upper ends to a hook 7, and aretoothed at 8 to engage a pin or detent 9. A clamping bolt 10 and nut maintain the rods 6 in the position to which they have been adjusted.
