Abstract

Garment hangers. - A garment hanger consists of a rigid rectangular &c. frame, with a curved top member a, having slidable lateral projections to support the sleeves. In the construction shown in Fig. 1, the frame has a cross-bar e of channel section to receive sliding rods f. The rods f are slotted and pivot on pins g so as to fall, when pulled out, against the side members d of the frame which may each consist of two bars spaced apart to receive the rod f between them. In a modification shown in Fig. 3, the projecting ends of a bar h, slidably mounted on the side members d, are provided with clamping pieces h<1>.
