Abstract

260,631. Walton, W. J. Oct. 30, 1925, [Convention date]. Spring hinges for doors comprise a spring G on an arm D with a roller J engaging the strap B of the hinge, the arm D being pivotally connected to a projection C on the plate A of the hinge, the spring being compressed, as the door is opened, by a slide E connected by links F to the member C. As the door is opened the arm D passes into a loop H on the strap member, and when the door has, been opened through more than a rightangle the spring acts to hold the door in the open position.
