Abstract

256,586. Zeiss, C. [Firm of]. Aug. 6, 1925, [Convention date]. Lenses corrected spherically, chromatically, astigmatically and for coma, consisting of three members, a dispersive member between two collective members and in which one of the collective members is a triplet, have the cemented surface nearer the dispersive member, collective in the construction in which the central element of the triplet is biconvex. When the central element of the triplet is biconcave, Fig. 3, both cemented surfaces are collective. In this example, the other collective member may also be constructed as a cemented doublet. Numerical data for three examples are given in the Specification. Specification 247,134 is referred to.
