Lenses. - Photographic lenses, corrected spherically, chromatically, astigmatically and for coma, consisting of three lenses separated by air spaces, as shown, and have the following features. The radius of curvature of the cemented surface of one of the collective lenses is at the most equal to five-sixths of the radius of curvature of the outer surface of this lens, and to half of the focal length of the -complete lens. The radius of curvature of the outer surface of the collective single lens is at least equal to one third of the radius of curvature of the outer surface of the composite lens and at the most equal to it. The total of the absolute values of the radii of curvature of the two outer surfaces of the complete lens is at least three-fourths of the focal length of the lens and the radii of curvature of the biconcave lens is at least nine-tenths of the focal length of the lens, one of the radii being not larger than three and a half times that of the other.
