Abstract

256,076. Kent, H. C. Sept. 19, 1925. Hoists with guided carriers. -An extensible inclined portable winch actuated hoist for loading sacks &c. into vehicles &c. has a hoisting frame 28, Fig. 1, provided with a winch 9, the rope from which passes over a roller 12 at the upper end of the frame to the load carrier 14. A bracket 33 at the top of the frame is adapted to rest against a vehicle. When an extended lift is required, an extension frame 31, Fig. 3, is fitted to the main frame, the extension having projecting rods 32 engaging sockets 29 on the main frame. The roller 12 is transferred from the main frame to the extension frame.
