Draught excluders.-A spring. raised hinged draught-excluder of the kind which is depressed on to the floor by a peg or roller in the jamb on the inner side. is provided with a longitudinal recess i in its back to receive the upper portion of a felt or like strip c, and is limited in its upward movement by a pin or screw p in the door engaging its upper front edge. The surface of the excluder which contacts with the peg on the jamb may be rounded or provided with a semicircular or camshaped member to adjust the rate of closing. The hinges of the excluder may be plain or provided with a raising spring and a stop to limit the opening The stop and spring may be provided on a separate member attached to the door.
